Everyone has memories but sometimes they are trapped on obsolete 8mm cine film. Preserve these treasured memories by transferring them onto DVD and relive those fond memories once more. Squiggle Media have 20 years experience of transferring and converting video onto DVD ranging from weddings and family events through to educational and training videos for businesses and government departments.

We can also create MPEG-4 (MP4) files from only £7.99 per reel

If you prefer to have you footage on a USB stick so you can plug it directly into you smart television or laptop & computer we can do this for you. Simply put a USB stick in with your film. We can also supply one for you at a cost of £8.50. Or if you prefer, we can upload the files to our secure server so you can download them or share them with your family and friends.

How to Order

Simply post your item(s) you require converting to us at Squiggle Media Ltd, 76, Thanet Road, Ramsgate, Kent, CT11 8EH. Enclose your contact details i.e. name, address & telephone number and/or email address and we will contact you on its arrival. We recommend you use a padded envelope and Royal Mail's Signed For service. You can also download, print, complete and enclose an order form for convenience but it is not essential. Thank you.

We use Flashscan frame by frame technology to capture your cine film. We do not project it onto a wall and video it like some companies do! Our method produces a high quality film transfer with zero flicker. See our sample video.

We will put all reels you send to us onto one DVD (up to a maximum of 2hrs) with each reel being a separate chapter for ease of navigation when viewing your DVD. The title of each reel will be used as an on screen title for each chapter. Background music will be added to your film, this can be your choice or you can leave it up to us to select some appropriate easy listening music.
